Exercise: I am still doing a combo of 21 Day Fix and 21 Day fix Extreme. I started adding Extreme in half way through last month, but only on some of the workouts like pilates, plyometrics, and upper fix extreme. I've been streaming all of my workings using the Beachbody On Demand with the all access pass.
Weight: Pre-pregnancy weight:237.7. Weight morning of birth: 264.8 (I'm just going to say 265 now because come on it really is!) Current weight March 1: 241.7. I lost a total of 2.8 pounds. I was aiming for min of 2 pounds lost, max of 4. I didn't lose a lot of inches, but I did lose some. And this month with the added strength training and increasing my weights I am feeling pretty great.
March Goals: I am still aiming to lose 1 pound a week since I am exclusively breastfeeding. 4 pounds would be great by the end of the month. I don't think we will start Elyse on solids this month, as she is only 5 months old. So it will be another month before I can kick my weight loss into over drive. I think that that is a safe amount to lose without sacrificing my supply but also making sure I am eating enough "good stuff". Goal for eating is to follow the meal plan 90% of the time, allowing 1 meal a week to be not what I would normally eat. In all honestly, the accountability from sharing my journey and in my groups is what is keeping me going everyday. I have a natural drive to exercise and eat right, but I have even more of a kick to just KICK BUTT and show everyone that it is possible to lose weight while breastfeeding. I am starting my certified personal training course in just another week! I am so excited. So being able to find study time, and doing the right kind of studying is another goal of mine for this month! I do have BIG goals to reach by the end of the year, and passing this certification is one of them. But I also want to look the part. Which means I need to lose more weight. My goal is to lean out my muscles and reduce my body fat % and to do that, I have to lose weight on the scale! I am excited but nervous about this course! But also very intrigued! I can't wait to share more tips on this blog once I do pass the certification!
