Plus Size Fitness: Butt Shaping Workout


I just graduated from phase 1 of 80 Day Obsession, and I had some amazing results in the first 4 weeks (see my results above!) I was actually surprised and wasn't even expecting my butt shaping results. But now, I want to share with you my favorite butt exercises from 80 Day Obsession! ** 80 Day obsession uses resistance loops. And for me, man, they roll (like in the picture above), but I still get a great workout even when they roll. They key is to use the right resistance level, and gradually work up to more and more resistance.

The key to every move is to squeeze your butt. When you get to a standing position squeeze as tight as you can. And for the moves on your knees, flex your foot while squeezing your butt.

Complete 3 sets of 10 reps. All moves can be done without weights, or resistance bands. I'm using them for the extra resistance and strength training!

//DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LIFT HEAVY!// Week 2 of phase 2 means we are lifting heavier because we don’t do as many reps in a row. I used to be terrified to lift heavy you guys! “I already have a ton of muscle! I don’t want to bulk up!” But what I was told then and now finally believe is that muscles burns more fat. The more muscle you have the more fat it will burn. And I’m doing a program, and eating the way I should be that will create lean muscle. Not bulk. 5 weeks completed now and my arms look smaller to me. My legs look smaller to me. My belly, most days, looks smaller to me. I’m burning fat! This is what exercise is for. To strengthen your body and help your body function better. I would rather look toned and defined with muscle on my body than skinny any day of the week anyhew. And as a plus size gal, my body can already move around a lot of extra weight. Don’t be scared to use 15, 20, 25 or more weights! But build up to it. Today I retired my 5 pound weights. I won’t be using them (I think) anymore in this program. I need to challenge myself more. So! Get out there and work up to lifting heavier! 3x10 format today.
