Tips To Save Money At Disney World

Going to Disney World can be EXPENSIVE! But you can save some money with these easy tips!

1) Get the Disney PhotoPass Memory Maker Pack! Then while at the park, stop at every Disney photographer you can because you get all the professional pictures! No more trying to get selfie, no more asking a stranger to take a picture and end up getting one that cuts off the castle. You can get all the pictures taken by Disney and then get them all included. Including the pictures with the characters and on the rides. Be sure to always scan your magic band or ticket (learned this the hard way!) So you get your pictures. You could walk away with HUNDREDS of pictures if you do it right!

$199 for the Memory Maker Pack, and if you pre-purchase it at least 3 days BEFORE your trip you can save $169.

2) Bring in your own snacks and food. Food is SOOOO expensive in the parks, and there is no rule (right now) that is against you bringing in your own food. Healthy snacks, lunches for your picky eaters, and WATER. These are going to save you a butt load of money. You can rent a locker or just carry it around with you in your bag.

3) Look for discounted ticket prices BEFORE you arrive. Some stores still sell lower prices/discounted prices for Disney tickets. If you are military go through your MWR or Shades Of Green resort for their Salute ticket prices. They are more discounted that what Disney offers.

4) Save on parking. If you are not staying at a resort on property and don't have access to a shuttle save money on parking by parking at Disney Springs. Then hop on one of their Disney Transports to a resort, get off then hop on one of the busses to whatever park you want to go to. Parking at Disney Springs is FREE. And Disney Transportation is FREE. It takes a little effort, but it can save you $20 a day for standard parking. Also if you are an annual passholder you get free standard parking.

5) Don't spend every day at the parks. Use one of the days as a rest and recover at your resort. There are a ton of things you can do at your own resort or go explore other resorts. There is a s'mores and campfire nightly activity at Wilderness Lodge and movies under the stars also at Polynesian Resort. Plus each resort is decorated and designed so you can walk and check out the views at the resorts. Like walk around the Boardwalk at Disney's Boardwalk Resort, or along a bayou at Port Orleans Resort and Riverside. Also there are arcades at some of the resorts, We saw one at the Contemporary Resort and a lot of the games were popular ones Skee ball, but also games found on mobil devices.
